We spent the schools’ spring break in search of spring. First, over the river to Norwich, Vermont, for spring sock yarn, and a visit to the baker’s Mecca, King Arthur Flour.
Eleven turned twelve last week, and celebrated by baking her own birthday cakes. (The recipe's here.)
Another trip took us a bit further into Vermont, where spring water over the dam powers glassblowers’ furnaces at Simon Pearce.
The tulips must have been for a party there Saturday night; I snuck a picture while the delivery guy was checking in.
Boston was in bloom outdoors, too.
